Hello, fellow Earthlings.

Join us in wandering the planet, or read about us doing it while you stay cozy at home. Whatever floats your boat. :)

We're Still Alive!

We're Still Alive!

This is a quick post to apologize for not posting. We’ve been dealing with a stressful timesuck back home (expect a long, venting post on that at some point), and we’ve also been suffering the consequences of ALL THINGS TRAVEL BEING BROKEN IN THE WORLD. You’ve surely seen the news from, like, EVERYWHERE lately about travelers losing luggage or sleeping in their cars at port entries for 20+ hours. Flights being canceled, airports being understaffed, and so on. I’m currently trying to figure out transportation between Paris and Barcelona for next week, and you can add to those news stories that websites and apps related to travel are also basically useless right now. So give me a few more days to alter and book our plans, and I’ll get back to more regular posts after that. So much for winging it on this trip.

I should note that we’re completely fine. We’re just trying to do what we can to avoid the travel disasters around us. We’re actually quite comfortable at the moment, in the home of wonderful friends in beautiful Lund, Sweden. So we’re not looking for pity here. Life is good. Just please have patience if you’re ready for updates.

In the meantime, please enjoy the screen shot above of expedia’s suggested travel idea for Toulouse. “Draw me like one of your French girls.” Ha!
